Apparently when dowel pins get yeeted at 7k RPM they're capable of putting holes in cast aluminum

I only found one of the three dowel pins, the other two are probably somewhere in earth’s orbit, hopefully they won’t puncture a hole in the ISS.
Good news is that my new clutch and aluminum flywheel came yesterday and now i can source a trans with the factory LSD which is one mod I was thinking about doing anyways.

Hey I did that with the center pin of my diff once. Never seen trans fluid drain so fast.

This is why drag, land speed, and other racing vehicles have scatter shields or bellhousing blankets . Imagine whole flywheels doing this.
